THE BEATLES "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" (EMI)

The labels on this classic album are matt black with Parlophone in bright yellow text, all other text is in silver. The perimeter text states "The Gramophone Co Ltd.." with "Sold In The UK Subject To Resale..." Etc text across the centre of the label. Under close inspection there are many light spindlemarks around the centrehole, indicating that this album has been played, however the "KT" tax code is still clearly visible either side of the hole. The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the dead vinyl, they are as follows Side One XEX 637-1 Side Two XEX 638-1 The matrices on both sides end -1, this indicates that this album was one of the first pressed. The vinyl, while not mint is excellent with only a few marks. Housed in the original fully laminated, internal flipback picture sleeve. Complete with intact sheet of cut outs. Of course the price reflects the condition as mint copies tend to sell for double this price!
